Ireland trip boosts ground photographs
Our recent trip to Ireland for the pre-season friendly against Shamrock Rovers has served to add a number of photographs to the Ground Photographs feature on Up the Clarets.
It’s not just photographs of Tallaght Stadium (shown above) either; we’ve also added new photographs from the homes of Bohemian at Dalymount Park, Bray Wanderers, courtesy of those on the Supporters’ Club trip, and of the Aviva Stadium, home to the national side.
There are new photographs from outside Deepdale and the City Ground, homes of Preston and Nottingham Forest where we played last week, and that includes an extra photograph of Notts County taken from across the river.
We’ve added non-league grounds at Kidderminster, Brocton, Galgate and Gargrave while there are new photographs from Academica in Portugal and Fort William in Scotland.
To complete the latest update, there are some extra photographs from the Turf taken in the mid-1990s as the club prepared to move to an all seater stadium.
