That’s as good a side as we can muster.
Only one possibly two player (s) missing from the manager’s preferred 11 I’d say.

Yep. Very good indeed. I’d forgotten the stigma that was attached to this disease at the time. Some of it was a difficult watch but enjoyed it non the less.
Fortunately, the days of this thing being a death sentence are way behind us.

The whole of cycling was CHEATING. Does that mean we should lambast every single athlete/team? Should we therefore lambast my grandfathers generation for their active participation in racism? Or should we accept that’s the way things were then and be happy that they’re not that way anymore? YES, we...

I think this needs serious discussion. He was the best, at everything, including cheating. He is a force to be reckoned with and if you do your research, he is to be admired. Was in awe of him, especially after reading “it’s not about the bike”...turns out he was right. It wasn’t about the bike... it was about the drugs. Now, he’s just a drugs cheat. It won’t. It just won’t. And he’d have a point in starting with those who worked their socks off and stuck to the game plan at Anfield, despite it not being what some of us want. I am in agreement with tiger, we are a better (more likely to threaten the opposition from open play) side with both Cork...

Suffering enormously sounds something like flu, which DOES make you suffer enormously. Anyway, try night nurse night...

Well hopefully after that performance the “All we are saying is give Vydra a chance” brigade will give us all a break. He offered very little against Fulham reserves tbh. He’s had (another) chance, he’s just not premiership. He’s not a bad player but offers us little. Benchwarmer at best and we can...

We are very lucky living in Burnley to be surrounded by some beautiful green spaces, all within a couple of miles or so. Towneley park is lovely too, and I have a soft spot for Scott park also. Newly discovered comedy talent
In response to the “stealing a living” thread, it got me thinking of who has recently been showcased on the telly box as a great new talent. For me, the best programme I have seen in quite a while is “fleabag” written by the (not-so-new) extremely talented Phoebe Waller-Bridge. What have you watched...

Yes, how can Maddison costing over £22 million be considered a great find? It may have something to do with the fact he’s an excellent player, who would now cost you double that to sign him.
