When Joe Gomez recently damaged a tendon in his left knee I'm surprised Klopp didn't blame Ben Mee for the injury.

To lose only 5 games away from home when we got into Europe shows how good we were that season.

We simply had no fear whoever we played.

Re: Does anyone actually enjoy watching us play?

The fact that we've missed Ben Mee probably has had a detrimental effect on how we play. Also, it's no coincidence that when we have JBG fully fit, playing on the right we are far better and more attractive to watch. Against Spurs we could have easily got something from the game and we played very w...

There is not a hope in hell’s chance of Newcastle suffering any kind of points deduction, or any penalty for that matter, under the circumstances. Imagine the furore if any team were penalised? They have discussed it and there will be a point in terms of number of games played when they will consider it a season played with champions and relegated clubs confirmed etc.
Didn't they mention something along the lines of 2/3rds of the season?

Re: Tonight's football

We'll probably need another nine wins and four draws.

We have to target similar teams like Palace to get 2-3 mid table wins, plus perhaps a shock result from one of the top six.

But the important thing is to get lower table wins, especially at home to all the bottom sides.
