Fergal Sharkey of the Undertones fame is heavily envolved in keeping tabs on water pollution… he files regular reports on water companies flouting the rules. It was Sharkey that first warned that Blackpool was dangerous due to raw sewage last summer… a couple of weeks before the beeches were closed...

I’m from just above Bingley (BD16). If someone asks where I’m from, I’d still always say Bradford (plenty who I know would say Leeds). One of Bradford’s biggest issues is that too many of its residents, from the surrounding areas, are staying away from the City, and actually disassociating themselv...
