I think it is very poor of the club to release this information with a typo showing the name of Jimmy Mcllroy spelt incorrectly.

We played 10 league games in April ‘62 + an FA cup semi final replay, winning just one of the league fixtures.RalphCoatesComb wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 9:21 pmIs this how we came 2nd to Ipswich in 1962? Genuine question as I was too young.

I have an official printed paper NHS Covid pass. It does not have a square QR code though. It does have a barcode on it, next to which it states “Your unique reference Use this to confirm your NHS COVID pass” Any useful comments?

Wycombe away on a Tuesday night in April 1997. Losing 4-0 at half-time, Rocky & Selwyn took off their Burnley tops and threw them into the back of the net in disgust. They then indulged in a bit of playful topless wrestling & watched the second half bare-chested.

Re: Have you ever left a Clarets game early?
I left West Brom when we were losing 8-0 in November 1967 (Jeff Astle scored 5), and missed Arthur Bellamy's late consolation goal. To make the day even worse I was hitchhiking with 2 mates and we ended up sleeping in a field somewhere near Walsall, finally getting home around Noon the following day.

I saw Jimi Hendrix (his name was spelt wrong on the posters). He sang Hey Joe, Purple Haze & The Wind Cries Mary in his set. He also appeared to play guitar with his teeth at one point. I don't think Chuck Berry played at Th'Imp, but he did appear at King George's Hall. Some weeks I would watch Burn...

Always been Nelson for me, nigh on 60 years now! Been some great pros e.g. Neil Hawke, Sarfraz Nawaz, Larry Gomes, Collis King, Kapil Dev, Eric Simons, Steve Waugh & Joe Scuderi.
