Re: Newcastle (H)
Scoring against the better teams in the division hasn't really been a problem for us. Stopping them scoring rather more than us has. Plus we have a huge tendency to gift wrap at least one and present it to them. If we can address that, we've a chance.

Hope its same starting 11 as last week v Man Utd, except for Amdouini coming in for Forfana and Foster playing the No 9. Fofana can come on to replace either Foster or Amdouini from the bench, depending on how either are playing. Think Amdouini's confidence will be good after winning and converting...

I was fully expecting some kind of charge to be brought against Forest over their online rant the other week. I'm not saying I'm hoping for more points deducted or anything (although it would be nice!) but I just thought for us to sit in the pub crying foul, cheating and corruption or even coming on...

I'm not sure about the other two, but with ever so slightly claret tinted specs I see Burnley getting another 4. (1 v Newcastle and 3 v Forest) Probably not enough.

If I was sitting on any independent appeals panel or indeed was in any high ranking capacity at the PL, knowing what the Forest owner is capable of when riled, I'd be thinking very carefully about my decisions surrounding this! And I'd be upgrading my doorbell camera!!

Ipswich did the business last night and have seized the initiative and put promotion firmly back in their own hands, but it's not over. They still need a point at least from the Uddersfeeled game at weekend or Leeds could pip them. Yes, on paper Ipswich look to be pretty much over the line because o...

It's fairly clear that we're going to need to get a win against Newcastle. That's obviously a tall order, but failure to collect all three points against "less potent" opposition such as Brighton, Wolves and Everton recently has meant that to keep things going we have to turn our up turn in form int...

The undoubted talent we've clearly had all season is now being married with a bit of Premier League experience, nous and grit and it seems that was all that was required. VK has already tried Fofana and Foster in the same line up and found out it doesn't work. So why try it again, especially in such a massive game?? If Foster gets stuck out on the wing when we've genuine wingers (Benson?) who can't get a kick it's absolutely criminal.

We have to produce a couple of "rabbit from the hat" results, like beating Utd and or Newcastle and maybe snatching a draw at Spurs. I really can't see it. Only losing one in six is really good form from us, but not getting the wins against Brighton (due to the ridiculous own goal), Wolves (due to the non foul) and the win at Chelsea (due to the daft penalty decision) probably means too many draws , so it's unfortunately too little too late, which is a...

I'd still stick with him.
