I live in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China.
The city has been "locked down" for 3 months now.
Apparently the restrictions were lifted 8th April , but....
I need a medical certificate to leave the community where I live but....I'm still not allowed out to get one from the hospital....catch 22 !

Re: Covid-19
I can comment without fear of being arrested, I find it strange that you should ask that question ? I have been kept updated, daily, of the situation. The data released was correct at the time of release. Perhaps some people don't understand that there is an an "incubation period" and so cases have ...

I live in Wuhan. I posted a message on the ClaretsMad board last December just alerting people of the potential risks if allowed to travel here. I was ridiculed, "it's only a f*****g cold/flu".

Re: Which one is the most dangerous?
I am amazed at the UK Government ignorant approach regarding COVID-19. I live in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, where the pandemic, allegedly, originated. The situation has been dealt with very efficiently. The whole Province was placed on immediate "Lockdown" on December 23rd....everywhere closed, a...

I live in Wuhan, China. I teach English.
The whole city is on "Lockdown" all schools are closed as is everywhere else, shops etc.
We are not even allowed to leave our apartments.
So, no, I'm not working at the moment, but possibly I will be allowed to continue after 8th April.

Yes, the situation has improved here in Wuhan, Hubei Province. The "Lock down" appears to be working. In fact it's being reported that Wuhan is now the safest place ! I do think that you will need luck as I cannot imagine people in the UK or Europe abiding to a "Lock down" for long....until people s...

"the UK economy is strong, most people are in work and most people have disposable income"
Really ? The situation must have changed since I was last in England, 3 months ago.
When you claim most people are working, do you mean places like "BoHoo" ?

If a "life sentence" meant living the rest of your life, in solitude, in a tiny cell, never being allowed out at all, then, I imagine that The Death Penalty would be preferable.

I returned to Burnley, briefly, this year and was walking along Casterton Ave., smoking a cigarette, which I disposed of in a roadside grate. All of sudden I was pounced upon by "someone" wearing a body cam and accused of "littering" and fined. I refuted this and appealed. I was told that "there is ...
