Re: Free Kick Or No Free Kick
This whole episode (and Chelsea on Saturday) demonstrates just why VAR is pointless. Wolves have scored after a ‘clear and obvious’ refereeing decision but VAR is powerless to do anything about it. It’s not helping referees as it was supposed to, quite the opposite in fact, it’s leading them more op...

Re: Season tickets next season
Plenty of moaning ? What kind of stupid comment is that ? At this stage we have no idea whether it will be a success for the club. The extent of how many people choose to not renew will emerge in the next 2 or 3 years. You might not see that much of a reduction this season but if we fail to go back...

I don't know the rules. I don't know why it was ruled out in the end. The officials, nor the commentators have explained why. It’s a complete mystery. What I don’t get is the reaction on here to a light hearted comment while at the same time accusing Liverpudlians as always playing the victim. Hypocritical?
If Kompany wants to use it to wind up the team then fine, but anyone else needs to get over themselves really.

It’s always a bit of a moot point trying to compare players and teams from different eras. If the team of the 60s had been playing today then they’d have the diet and fitness regimes of today and be trained to play in a modern style on modern pitches. As such the good players of the past would likel...

The foul on Amdouni couldn't be overturned by VAR as it was neither a red card or a penalty. It was simply an awful, awful decision. Suspicion is that it was a sympathy decision giving that we were thrashing them. The incident was on the edge of the six yard box. VAR checked it but some how deemed ...

84-87 were dark times. We were on a downward spiral and there didn’t seem to be a way to reverse it. It took the stark possibility (in fact at the time it seemed very likely) of what faced us on the morning of the Orient match to shake us out of it.
