I was 15 years old in 1973 and remember that promotion season so well, stood on the Longside in my Oxfords bags, Brutus penny round collar shirt, red socks and black brogues.
I must have looked a right prat, come to think of it now!

Just shown on the local news here in the East, Alastair Campbell and Ed Balls arriving at Carrow Road for the match yesterday on a tandem. Looking at their clothing (especially Balls) they could have only cycled from Morrisons which adjoins Carrow Road. Absolute tokenism! I thought the whole concept...

In 2007 my son was at Sheffield Uni and worked as a steward at Utd and Wednesday on match days. During that time FIFA recognising Sheffield FC as the oldest cub in the world (founded 1857) organised a game between Sheffield FC and a FIFA 11 for their 150 year anniversary. Without Sean’s vision and business acumen probably Barnfield would not have been built to anywhere near the standard it is.
The training facilities are a huge asset for the club and also in attracting prospective talent. This cannot be underestimated in my opinion.
Thanks Sean

Dyche continues to stay loyal to the same old 4 strikers who are totally out of form.
Why not give some of the U23s strikers a go. It surely can’t be worse! It’s frustrating that Dyche appears to come across as stubborn.
Re-signing Lennon was diabolical imo.
Give youth a chance Sean.

Yes the 1970 World Cup was probably the best of Brazil as a team. The way they destroyed Italy was an absolute joy to watch. As far as England throwing away a two goal lead, it is generally accepted that Sir Alf made a tactical error in taking Bobby Charlton off in order to rest him for the next gam...

The reason why our strikers are failing
On match days, it’s a ritual for me to kick my underpants into the laundry basket at the first attempt from the landing carpet. Hitting the basket or hanging on the rim doesn’t count as they have to go straight in. My current strike rate is around 1 in 4. I’m stepping up the training in an effort to...

Can remember when Howe couldn’t attend the game as he’d gone down south as his mother had just died. Fair enough.
But we then had a minutes silence to honour his mother before kickoff.
Ridiculous. We didn’t know if she was even a Claret for goodness sake.
