Re: Season tickets next season
As an over 65 I can see good reason in hitting us compared to the rest. I do not know what the price increases are as a percentage of last year but CT says ours is up 25%. If you wish to try and expand the younger supporters then the smaller increase for them not only keeps them but may entice youn...

Re: Chesterfield back in the league
Just had a look at the league table and Salford are having a really poor season. Thought they'd be play off contenders with their backing Salford signed Jez Davies from us in the transfer window and I told my Salford supporting mate that I thought they had got a good player. Don't think he's kicked...

Don't understand why Southgate 'deserves' to win something. Sounds like the commentator earlier this week ( Murphy?) who I believe mentioned that Newcastle United's supporters 'deserve so much more'.
Why is that then?

I'd like to think a little bit of discretion could be applied in these instances. But then I remembered there is very little, if any at all of it, left in the game of football. I was surprised at how much time was played after the goal was scored.

Never witnessed any value in a friendly. At best they might be interesting to fans of a player they support making a debut. Second halves just become a circus with so many substitutions being made it can become farcical.

We're not going to agree on this but you mention his 'attacking threat'. Rarely does he go past his opponent and his crossing is poor. But, I take your point that he doesn't hide and had a decent enough game yesterday.

Runs and runs does the lad - if we had the squad that we really wanted, he likely wouldn’t be starting, but his value is in his versatility and work rate. What you/we/I have to remember is that defending in this system will look very different than what we were accustomed to under SD. This reads very much like all of the posts saying what an improvement Al Dakhil or Beyer were on the "limited" Tarkowski and Mee.
