Re: REPORT: Burnley shot down by the Gunners
Honest report Tony. I too walked out early for the first time after the 5th goal. I watched Luton v Man U on TV yesterday. I was struck by the 100% commitment by the Luton players in closing down Man U. We seem to have completely lost that commitment and that is what hurts. If we go down and Luton s...

Judas
Am currently in Crete where it’s their orthodox Easter Saturday.
What they seem to do at midnight, after leaving Church, is set fire to an effigy of Judas then set off fireworks.

Anglesey is generally great but , sorry bfcmik, Holyhead really is a dump.

Once Juninho replaced Tella, we had 10 nationalities on the pitch.

If we can find a way of contacting each other ( no idea how to do this on here), happy for you to have it for this game.

I have an over 65 seat in the Bob Lord Stand. I’m away for this game - anyone in the Harrogate area want to borrow my card?

Re: Red Executive Seats
Was told today by my neighbour in the Bob Lord Stand that our Chairman had a few guests today from Salt Lake City.
Which would explain the better occupancy.
Maybe he’s trying to tap up some new investors?

It’s Rooster’s Baby Faced Assassin for me.
100% Citra Hops.
Available in Morrisons or Waitrose.
And they’ve got a great Taproom in Harrogate.
Full disclosure - it’s my family brewery

Re: New players - what Dyche needs to know
Given that Mr Pace has apparently already borrowed £50 million from BURNLEY FC to finance the takeover, I'm not sure that we'll be spending very much at all. Up to hearing about that loan from Burnley, I was very positive about this takeover. Now, I'm not so sure. This is not correct. ALK Capital h...

Re: What about the smaller shareholders?
My point in starting this thread ( I declare an interest- I am a small shareholder) is that the motivation , certainly for me , was being involved, albeit in a very small way, in our community club where even the directors / major shareholders were Clarets through and through. Now we’re owned by an ...

What about the smaller shareholders?
If the other 5 directors have resigned, they’ve presumably sold their shares - they had 15.7% between them. ALK have acquired, we are told, 84% which would suggest that MG and JB have retained a shareholding between them of of around 9%. There are hundreds of smaller shareholders who own the remaini...

Re: Bradford City v Harrogate Town
Have to disagree Erasmus. Harrogate Town has a strong local following. Leeds is the nearest other EFL club and not everyone likes them! Some of us are happy to make the drive over to Turf Moor but I’m really proud that club local to me has become successful playing very attractive football. Many of ...

Bradford City v Harrogate Town
Just watching this very entertaining game on Sky. Harrogate are my local club. Some good quality football on show. Difficult to believe that there are not quality players in the EFL we can’t identify and sign.

Yesterday’s Times reported that legislation is to be introduced to fine car drivers who leave their engines running whilst stationery. It has always puzzled me why the away supporters coaches parked in Harry Potts Way have their engines running belching out diesel fumes on us as we walk past. Can we...

Re: What irritates you most about our style of play?
Agree not a lot wrong and I’m proud of what we’ve achieved. Our standard appriach to throw ins is just something that frustrates me. I get that the full backs should normally take them as part of our game plan, but all too often they are long drawn out and predictable in their execution. All World C...

What irritates you most about our style of play?
For me it’s throw ins.
Watching this World Cup almost all teams take quick incisive throw ins.
We invariably hesitate, prat around and then throw the ball down the line only to lose it more often than not.

Installed IpVanish and Mobdro today. Managed to get the game via Bein Sports. After 5 minutes it cut out and I could not then reinstate it. All sports channels on Mobdro seemed to be blocked. My ISP is Virgin Media via cable. Because of the cable connection would this have overridden Ip Vanish? Ende...

Re: REPORT: More questions than answers on and off the field
I don't understand why the game was abandoned. The home supporters had been evacuated from the CFS and the police / stewards had got the Hannover supporters under control.
Where was the crowd safety issue at that point?
