First goal sweep
Are we approaching or have past the previous record amount to be won on the first goal sweep? How many rollovers have we had now? A goal in the 43rd minute tonight please!

Re: 12 years ago
When that first goal went in, we were halfway through singing Que sera sera and my arms were just frozen in mid air for about 2/3 minutes, the utter belief we were going to do it and had done it to be hit by that killer blow was a gutting experience.

When I have seen Phil Neville interviews, he comes across as very arrogant and an unpleasant person, living off his fame of the "class of 92" when he was the worst player.

Get well soon Steve! I didn't realise he was at Shrewsbury town. I always think of John Bond in his flatcap hiding in the stand when we went down there in the cup. We won 2-1 from memory, a great night game. Had a very good start at Shrewsbury with 1-0 away wins at Lincoln, Doncaster and Hull who w...

Another stat - the 22 goals we have conceded is the second best we've ever had in the Premier League at this stage. Goal differences after 17 games in the Premier League 2017/18 - plus 4 2019/20 - minus 7 2016/17 - minus 12 2020/21 - minus 13 2009/10 - minus 14 2014/15 - minus 14 2018/19 - minus 18...

Got to wait for the line ups to see which injured players have made a return and see any players missing due to COVID. Would go for a 2-1 defeat.

Spot on. The Football League got it right this season in the League Cup - no VAR until the semi final. Probably the one year i don't care if we win or lose, obviously great for the club if we win the FA Cup or at least have a good cup run but could you imagine being in the FA Cup final in May but not being allowed to attend or limited numbers and you don't get a ticket, would be gutting.
