That year is the reason i don't get all the continued bitterness towards Coyle. There's a good chance the majority of us will never experience a season like that ever again.

Only time i went was in the awful season under Waddle. Pretty sure it was getting towards the end of September and we scored our first league goal that day. Ended up getting beat 3-1 and came off realising that all the excitement had been misplaced and that we were absolutely dreadful.

We can't rely on the back 5 to keep a clean sheet every week. Particularly with the Mee Tarky partnership likely to be broken up this summer.

Perhaps we should be asking why only Sheffield United are in for him if he is so good. That would be my thought. Problem with that argument is generally if another Premier league club is interested in a player it rules us out. With Dyche unwilling to shop abroad i'd say Lingard is as good as we cou...

Longer than 13 games I would imagine. His decent spell continued into last season where he scored 6 goals, before succumbing to injury. He faded badly last season after a good start. Since he's come back he's looked a million miles away from being a Premier league footballer. The amount of times he...

Barnes in the main has been effective at this level, 9 and 12 goals I think, 6 from a half a season last year before injury, currently going through a poor patch. The question are the strikers performing well enough at this moment, could easily be answered no. I just think that Vydra isn't the answ...

You will only see more quality in the middle with a 3, not 2.
For what its worth i think Brownhill would be suited to playing on the right of a middle 3. He's got the engine and he'd have a bit more freedom and time on the ball.

Brownhill is very hard working and industrious but not sure he's got the quality for this level. I realise it won't be easy but we desperately need a bit more quality in the middle of the park, rather than just graft.
