I see Sean Dyche's 17 year old son Max was an unused sub today for Northampton in their 2-1 win at Shrewsbury. I think that's the first time he's been in the first team match squad. If so congratulations to him. A very proud family tonight no doubt.

Well beaten in the end, although we should have been in front at half time. Missed penalty, hit post and had a shot cleared off the line. Ward played 70 minutes, looked good.

This was an excellent performance and a very good game. We dominated for long periods, and it would have been three points but for Town's goalie who made several fine saves, including one from the penalty spot. Superb never-say-die attitude from the youth team.
