Re: The Mighty Clarets v The Villains (matchday thread)
Some result that we came from behind twice and went on to win, and that can't have happened often in the PL if ever. Well not securing safety that's a big step towards it, and we sounded like a different team 2nd half, I missed the 1st but it doesn't seem that I missed much. 3 goals in the space of ...

Big 10 minutes, this would be a huge 3 points if we see it out, or even nab another. What a 2nd half definitely a game of two halves.

Great character to come back a 2nd time, now let's make sure we get at least a point if not all 3, pleased for Dwight to bag, he's looked back to his best in the past couple of games, and that goal will do him a world of good, whether he meant it or not they all count.

Bumping this to remind players there's a midweek round tomorrow, entries by 6PM.
That Bournemouth win gave me a couple of points, making 13 for the round, better than normal this season, I've clambered into the top 50 in the UTC league eventually.

Before this thread starts going OT, I can only surmise that Kev Long being so advanced showed our confidence, and he certainly took it well, good to see us being clinical for once and not just sitting on a lead, but by goodness Fulham were awful, and 3-0 didn't flatter us at all.

Cheltenham gave City more of a game than West Brom have tonight, I do wonder if Bilic will have a wry smile on his face watching this.
BTW heading for 4 away wins in the PL in tonight's games, hope that's not an omen for tomorrow.

I think people also forget Leicesters run to stay up in 2014/15 That's rare though for teams to hit such a purple patch, and can you really see any of the bottom 3 hitting that level of form. To put it into perspective we've amassed 9 points in our last 6 games, and yet many feel we're in poor form...

What I mean is Benitez is unlikely to make much difference. Perhaps not, but they'll have to make a change soon if results don't turn, whether it's Benitez or someone else, otherwise they're in severe danger of going down. As a Burnley fan I'm more than happy for Bruce to continue in post, and I st...

Us no, Brighton or Newcastle possibly, but if any of the bottom 3 are going to get out of trouble they'll need to start stringing a couple of results together, and on the evidence thus far that's looks beyond all 3 of them.

Bruce has a better PL record as Newcastle manager than Benitez. Maybe but their recent form is 2 points out of a possible 27, and not many PL managers survive slumps like that. 3-2 now at Palace, but that late goal no use to the Eagles, another win for West Ham, they are having an incredible run under Moyes, and it just shows why fans and owners should give managers a real chance to implement their style on a club, instead of the revolving door strategy which many seem to ...

Lower league teams always seem to concede a few in the last ten minutes against PL sides. I wonder if it’s fitness and concentration or just the quality of subs that can be brought on.
