Re: Concussion substitutions start from next week.

That could work - although guess it could still be cheated if the team doesn't have a game for X days, or the manager thinks he can do without him for the next game. They'll need to be on the ball with this as it's inevitable that some teams will take the ****. Such a cynic. If a club is found to c...

Re: Concussion substitutions start from next week.

Be interesting to see how the normal suspects try and cheat it. In F1 you're not allowed to drive/race again for a set period of time, I think it's minimum of 2 weeks as the recovery period is 2-3 weeks. I'd assume it will be the same in football, if player has concussion no footballing activities ...

Clubs will be allowed to per game and if one side is taking a player off, the other side can do the same.

I'd be surprised if the insurance policy listed unfair dismissal as a reason to pay out.

The best comments about him were when he signed for Villa and one poster (can't remember who it was) was banging on about watch him now he has a good manager, then it moved onto straight into the starting line up while we wouldn't give him his chance. I think it's perfectly reasonable to have agreement. Especially if the player had been training with his former club all week in preparation to play against his new club.
Not if Snodgrass had become a game changer for WBA against West Ham.
He'd have a point to prove against his old club.

Outside the top 6-7 clubs it's always about survival each season.

Occasionally a club will break into the top lot, but they'll drop back out again.

The only thing that changes the status quo is serious and sustained investment, like Leicester.

Couldn't give a toss if we don't. Theoretically a team can stay up by scoring just 10 goals to get 10 1nil wins and so long as it doesn't concede any in 8 games that are draws. I'm more bothered about hitting 38 points and if we do it with the lowest goals scored tally ever I'll be fine with it this...
