The Daily Express has an article about the Premier League bringing in semi-automated offside technology from next season. Apparently the Leagues longest ever offside VAR check lasted five minutes when Jay Rodriguez 's goal against Bournemouth was disallowed last October. Yes they really spent that l...

I don't know if it's their record attendance but around 72,000 turned up at Goodison for our fixture back in the early sixties. They really like watching us on Merseyside.

I thought he might have been sacked after the Bournemouth game which could have made it difficult for us on Saturday. When the guy next to me said he would be gone on Sunday I said he might be lucky to last that long, they. might not let him on the coach and tell him to make his own way home.

Like Royboy I was at the semi and the final and was going to go to that one as well but I started work the following Monday so couldn't make it. We also played them again in '65 and lost 3-4 after being 3-1 up (I think).

Good to see them doing well, but surely there must be somewhere they can play their games in the town. With the womens game on the up I'm sure they would get decent crowds.

Glad you brought this up Tony. I put something on last night about it being one of the best performances I ever saw from a Burnley side. Apart from having to kick off three times they hardly had a touch of the ball. We just completely dominated the game.

My son in law has gone to Amsterdam on a stag do, he should have gone on easyJet but they cancelled the flight so they had to get another one and got on KLM and Wout was on. He was happy to have his picture taken with the lads so probably nothing suspicious, just going home for the weekend.

Every season 1 and often 2 of the relegated sides goes back up but its because they keep enough of their Premier league players to ensure they are to good for this division, but we only have Brownhill who was regular last season and starting every game this season.
