Data analysis is only as good as whoever and however you interpret the data. Virtually everybody has the data these days. It's what you do with it that counts. This is true. Some teams have the data, but don’t use or ignore it (Man United spring to mind), some use it but don’t get it right, and oth...

Re: Burnley to York/Harrogate via Blubberhouses
I've pretty much given up going to York from East Lancashire even before the Kex Gill issues. Getting through Harrogate is a real pain. For anyone going north of York, the A59 closure isn't that big a deal. The obvious detour through Pateley Bridge is almost as quick and very scenic. For anyone who'...

That would be extremely harsh on Ekdal considering well, it wasn't really just on him (Vitty playing onside, Traff no mans land) and players have made mistakes far worse and continually been backed. Heck, Esteve (who I like but don't think should be thrusted in to the PL) has been done by long ball...

Mine would be more about other peoples opinions... Lack of experience/physicality as reasoning for the poor season. I'd agree with Spice on Cullen. I've been of the opinion all season that our problems are much more to do with tactics than individuals. Cullen for me was hung out to dry earlier in the season. The box midfield would seem to work well when you're in control of a game, but we didn't have that control...

Amdouni is playing as a striker as part of a front 2. When it’s Foster or Fofana, they’re expected to run the channels more (down the right), with Amdouni given more of a free role in possession, but still on the left hand side. Out of possession they drop into a rigid 4-4-2 with both expected to dr...
