Easy to get wrapped up in the last ten minutes of the game, but for me, Charlie was our best player in the first half tonight. An absolutely wonderful player for us. His reading of the game is great, as his is understanding with Dwight. However, his blocks and clearances are just something else. You...

Dictating directly into Microsoft Word - any ideas?
Hi everyone, Hope you're all well. I use dictation messages all the time. Indeed, I'm doing this very message on the iPhone, using the dictation microphone. However, when I'm prepping lessons for children, I was wondering if there was a way to do it on Microsoft Word, so that I don't have to use my ...

Re: A thought for Sunday...dropping Barnes
Could I venture a view that the problem is slightly further back than the front 2? The impact Jack Cork has on the effectiveness of this team is readily forgotten. I think, that whilst his passing tends to be short, he does play forward more regularly than Brownhill, and get back on the ball, allow...

Many of you will know just how much I used to to be an advocate of wanting Burnley to start with Wood and Barnes upfront. I started a thread in the season where we ended up in Europe, pretty much pointing out the runs we go on when each of them gets into scoring form… When they got on those runs tog...

Re: Not imperative that we stay up
The comment from Pace has been taken out of context here. He spoke at length about his ambitions for the club and it was clear it’s important that we retain our PL status. However, when directly asked how vital it was that we stay up, he’s hardly going to start detailing a doomsday scenario. I got ...

I expected us to be well- beaten by Wolves at home. We employed good tactics with overlapping fullbacks getting up the pitch. We got crossed into the box. Wood and Barnes looked like a partnership.
I enjoyed that game a lot.

Looks an excellent player. Great vision and range of passing. Very calm on the ball. 21 years years old. How the hell have Stoke allowed him to go on loan? He seems way above that level. Goalkeeper, Lee Nicholls, will rightly get the plaudits, but for me, Sørensen has been the best player on the pit...
