Re: Realistic ambitions under ALK
I just want us ro be able to financially compete with our fellow, similarly sized Premier league clubs in terms of player wages. We have lost out on players recently because of our wage ceiling.
Also they must never, EVER use the word soccer.

Agreed, but i will judge him on his overall performances, important goals and contributions over the season.
A lot of below par performances tonight which is to be expected given the glut of fixtures and paper thin squad.

Agreed, performance is definitely secondary to three points.
A nice shiny new right back and right winger from our new Yanks and we are good to go.

Three points is literally all that matters in a relegation battle, i couldn't care less about the performance.
Great and positive result.

I’m sure there’s some money, but it’s finding the right players for the right price. If we go down this season it’s because of Dyche not Garlick. Exactly. So there is nobody we can afford....at all? Bored with Dyche bitching after every single game and his media snipes at the board. If he's not happy then why doesn't he just walk away? Three and a half million reasons every single year. The irony around the Gibson situation is funny. If he hadn't been such a little b*tch he would have probably played the last 10 Premier league games for Burnley, instead of being on Norwich's bench in the league below.

Don’t think aiming to stay in this division after 5 seasons is pursuing a rainbow. Letting your best manager in an era start the season with 14 fit professionals is pretty shoddy ownership. Yes, a waste. We let Hendrick walk away, losing a £10m+ asset off our balance sheet. Then we spend £2.5m to replace him with a player who is 3 years older, not as good and who offers less positional flexibility. On top of that we give Stephens a 2 year ( probably with a plus one year ) contract whi...

Joke of a decision to sign him and then not play him.
