Fair play but if relegated you will see poorer referees.
I have watched lots of games this season in all 4 divisions and the standard is very poor and do t have VAR to help in offsides
Goals are given with scorers sometimes 2 yards offside

Have watched the highlights on Sky plus mod but people marking say 5 5 5 and 5 are clearly not looking and giving thought to what A B C and D represent

For C fitness and positioning any low marks imo are ridiculous as he was up with play all the game
Scores should be high around 20

Definitely a game of opinions
I followed match on SSN and they said he had been a good referee
I have seen Hooper on TV lots of times this season and imho he is among our better referees

Looks like myself who will be 80 in October and just given up my season ticket after just 1 game last season and none this season will now be able to watch all mid week games next season if we are relegated.

Imo there should be no pints deducted as there is no way City Chelsea Spurs United and others will ever have points deducted.

He probably did but VAR check everything and VAR was lost for a period
Giving 4x 3 is ridiculous as players get minimum of 3 out of 10
Equals 30 out of 100
Referees get some decisions right in the 100 minutes played as players do

Following Clinton Morrison and Mike Dean on Sky and they had no problem with the Referee
Apparently all communications with VAR were lost at the time of red card and penalty and that was why it took a long time for VAR to check it. ( they check all possible penalties and red card decisions)

John spends a lot of time on the “Rate the Ref” and it would give a better understanding of the referee performance with several scores.

Fair point but many of the others have not scored that many runs and have put catches down ( costing lots of runs).
Pope has several excellent catches and again as vice - captain the second name on the Team Sheet ( Ben Stokes would never leave him out)
