I hot a pair of HOKA walking shoes with vibram soles along with some Merrells. Really comfortable but they've worn down a lot quicker than I anticipated, its made me realise I must walk like Charlie Chaplin.

Part of the problem is there is no path to contact them other than via their own ‘appeals’ process.

They have already responded with completely the wrong end of the stick, saying that as she has stated the car has been cloned she needs to provide evidence. As I say it’s kafkaesque.

If you are after a self catering place to stay, depending on dates, I might have a spot. In Worsthorne, walkable to the turf in 25 minutes and with a couple of very good village pubs. Can even get a minibus to the turf from the crooked billet.

The signs originally put up in June said that the roadworks would be in place for 6 weeks. The road was supposed to be clear before the football season started.
That was the culvert repairs works, not the whole T2T scheme.

Up there last week with the family. We were staying in Northumberland so got the train from Berwick for the day. Didn't see any indoor shows, but watched plenty of street performances, some of which were really good. Brilliant atmosphere up and down the Royal mile, just absolutely packed.

I went to watch Padiham last night, the game got going after about 80 minutes. Harry Moss made some good saves, one in particular coming off his line to deny what seemed to be a certain goal. His handling was also very good. That penalty would have gone for six over the cricket boundary :lol:

The premium one has 'first' priority to home match tickets, so I'm assuming it puts them above bog standard members who only get 'priority'. It also says they get 'Access' to away tickets, which suggests to me they are possibly on a level par with season ticket holders in the queue.

It worked well for me, I saw the email, logged into the ticketing website to find the game sold out. Checked back just now and managed to find two seats together in the North stand upper. They appear to come and go quite regularly so if you are after a ticket, keep checking - theres plenty of singles.

For the 5-0 and the cup replay, I parked on the estate behind the riverside stand then walked down the hill. Obviously it a fair few years ago now but it was easy back then and a 10 minute walk to the away end.

I thought it started to go downhill during the Lovejoy / Chamberlain era, it was too long. The reboot with Max Rushden was when it really went to the dogs. The more recent format, 90 minutes with lots of messing about with footballs in the car park with Bullard and Fendley was actually alright imho.

Quite a few scenes filmed locally, one I spotted the other day was near the junction of new road near Towneley. The farm is up Manchester road, they used a bar on Hammerton street and often the long causeway that I'm aware of.
