Great season ahead for Lanky, master stroke getting a local lad in, Nathan Lyon will do well, especially with the core of the team being born and bred Lancastrians like Luke Wells, the locals at EOT will be right behind their own.

Re: REPORT: Burnley shot down by the Gunners

When you leave Martin Odegaard with acres of space around your box there will only be one outcome. Surely the coaching staff identified him as being their main threat (admittedly there are a number of others) and so detailed one of our midfielders to ensure they got in his face ? Criminal that first...

That half time entertainment is an amalgam of toe curling Partridge and vintage Phoenix Nights, an absolute parody of itself. I had a guffaw when the disc thing wouldn't move cos the board was wet. Dark cloud - I would check my phone if I could get a signal in the BL. Surely things can only get bett...

It was fitness and squad size that did for us that night, our lads were out on their feet, they gave everything.

Unfortunately Spurs had the quality off the bench but more importantly the fresh legs.

An utterly magnificent performance from us.

If that was a defender, would we have got a pen, absolutely not.

They are penalising attacking actions and chalking goals off which is what the game is all about.

Slowing it down is wrong, show it at full speed and decide.
