We've Southampton at home and Newcastle away up next.
Here's an idea - let's see how we fare against those two clubs, similar in PL stature to us - before the whingeing gets out of hand.
And it’s not already??

Burnley fans grumble to much

50 years on and still going strong.

Re: Football's Magic Money Tree

The above post is everything that is wrong with football today. Money going out of the game into the pockets of leaches. Also smacks of conflict of interests. Wolves basically paying themselves for players. But the fans will still cheer, and ours will moan. Modern day football, it stinks.

You just beat me to the 50 years, first game was Wolves on 26th September 1970. We missed a pen. Thanks for that, cleared up something that I’ve been wondering for years. I always remember a missed penalty, thought it was in the Arsenal game, but could never find out anything about it. Makes sense ...

I can’t believe you’ve put Tommy Hutchinson there. Gerry Gow -yes Hutchinson - no way. He put in a shift in a dreadful side. Financially has to be Gibson. In terms of disappointment then Coyle’s three ‘E’s take some beating. I’d also say Besart Berisha deserves a mention. Never really offered a cha...
