Re: The summer Trafford/Muric dilemma
I don't think it's any coincidence that our back four has looked more assured since Muric came in. However, if it's a toss up Trafford has the profile and I'd guess with age he'll become a top keeper hopefully with us.

I'd keep Muric in for the remaining matches. For me he should have started in August on merit and irregardless of the two howlers he deserves the chance to redeem himself.

I have always been a JC fan. Along with Joey, he's been, in my opinion the best CM we've had in the last decade and I'm sure he can still have an impact. To see him bench warming is soul destroying when he is just the type of classy, experienced player we are desperately missing.

No 'beating about the bush' with that report CT. I fully agree with most of what you've written and in all honesty I've been resigned to the inevitable for quite a while. 23, 23 undefeated. Think CT summed it up in his preview. Although things went a bit sour towards the end, SD is a legend and without his stewardship over the best part of 10 years, not to mention changing the infrastructure, there's no way we'd be playing the likes of Everton this evening.

I know he'll be badly missed. Also think he'll start at Wolves with Ekdal. The alternative ie moving Charlie into the centre and Roberts or Vitihno at left back to me would be too disruptive and affect the balance too much.

The one commodity were short of is leaders. I didn't see too many yesterday or indeed this season. We could start with an experienced goalkeeper. There just might be one from Man Utd available come January. We definitely need one who can organise the back four in front of him.

There's no such thing as getting promoted too early. You take the chance when it's offered. Staggering incompetence with the on/offside goal. If Gyokeres is the benchmark at £20m then Tella is worth a lot more imo. It's all hypothetical now, but I would have expected him to score between 10-15 if he's played for us in the PL in VK's system(s). Good luck Nathan, you'll be a big success in the Bundesliga.
