Re: 2023/24: Manchester United v Burnley – Ticket Information
Can't fault the club taking the lower allocation. We will have had to inform them in advance and up until a week ago we would have got nowhere near selling 3000. Can't expect the club to take full allocations when people don't want to go to away games when things aren't going well. Couldn’t agree m...

Agree Vegas. Pretty sure that’ll be one of Kompany’s key learnings from this season in the Prem.
Even Brighton, known for their technical ability, all stood out as massive units on Saturday.

Me either. Someone will pay something for him with that record this season but I’d bet it’ll go more the Armstrong way.ClaretsPadiham wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2024 2:53 pmNo I don’t want us to do any sort of business with them and give them any sort of income.

No they didn’t. It was this season we used them to source players. Where’s this information from? Someone on here itk said we’d been using them since Kompany arrived. And maybe even that Lee Moony was in MtB (if I remember correctly). It’d be very odd for Kompany to just start using his trusted rec...

Re: Would you take Sammie Szmodics ?
No nay never. He’s having a great season and well done to him. He’s single handedly carried a poor rovers side to survival this year. But his goal spree has been a one off and I’m not sure he possesses the qualities that’d be required of an attacking midfielder in VK’s system where we had the majori...

I said to someone not long before kick off that I thought Everton would get something tonight and by that I didn't mean a hiding. It was a fair expectation, I think. It’s only really if they go in to admin they’ll lose more points this season. I’d say that’s unlikely, but they’re in incredible trouble whatever happens this year. They need this 777 deal to fall through and an immediate knight in shining armour to emerge.

I’m not entirely sure where Man City stand in regards to PSR, but selling Palmer was more financially beneficial than selling an equivalently valuable player who wasn’t an academy product. Was he not sold because he’s a home grown player so therefore his entire transfer fee counts as a profit as far as the financial regulations go? I’m sure Pep will sleep easy. As an aside, Palmer made his professional debut against Burnley back in 2020. Not sure City have any issues with PSR though?...

I can’t find his thread, sorry, but noticed when I watched the game back that he put the cross in for JBL’s miss and then for Fofana’s. Brilliant deliveries. Then he should’ve won us a penalty. No doubts. And that is even relative to other sides, who must also get some tough decisions. No chance we’re staying up now.
Hope we beat Sheffield United and potentially catch Luton, although even that’s unlikely as they have an easier run now.

Can't see how we keep Benson this summer he'll be fuming, Zaroury maybe it was agreed a loan was best so maybe happy coming back. I mean it’s incredibly harsh to judge him on a game where his side had like 10% of the ball. Put him in our side where we’ll have 75% of the ball and watch him cook. I would only say forest away Luton at home and Villa away are games that the poor decisions by officiating has cost us.
