Re: Burnley v Leeds - Match Day Thread
They didn’t even have to play counter attack today. The gap between our midfielders and Tarks & Mee was enormous. They were walking around in the space.
No complaints. They weren’t that good but we were dire. It happens, move on.

Comms already moaning about late offside flags.
It is so simple. You play on, if a goal is scored you review, if not you play on. No need to stop the game for a FK.

Dick Malone of Sunderland is the one that stands out for me, Silky.
Playing RB against Eddie Gray and totally shut him down after all the predictions said he'd be toast.

Cup final Grandstand was fantastic. Talking you through all the players individually. Their Road to Wembley. Cameras at the team hotel. Cameras on the team busses to Wembley. It will be a strange world post-covid. Millions working from home, so offices will be vacant as well. Most large companies will down-size. The roads will be empty as far less will be travelling. Newcastle take lead v. City.
I don’t know Ake’s W-D-L record at City but every time I see him they look worse for it.
Just found it. 4-2-3. He’ll be lucky to be there next year.

I think he’s got quite a way to go, but as you rightly point out, some of his stats do make impressive reading. He has been moved about a bit but I think it’s fair to say that we look a better side with Cork and Westwood as a pairing than one or the other with Brownhill. He really needs to be makin...

What has he done, so far, to warrant a “more than proved he’s a good PL player” assessment? I’m not saying he can’t be but I’m still to be convinced. There is definitely a PL player in him. Needs polishing up a bit but his stat as top for interceptions in the PL is a massive plus in our midfield. H...

I said weeks ago we will finish on 45 points. Sticking with that I would love to do the double over Liverpool. Unless our boys are on the beach I can’t see us losing at Bramall Lane, so sadly we will lose tomorrow.
I predict we will get robbed again. Leeds will become our new Arsenal.

I’d like to see the clean sheets for Pope, Pickford and Henderson. Then handicap them by the number of caps they have in their back 4.
We have 3, all Tarkowski.
Henderson appears to concede every game.

As it stands.
6 points between Leicester, Chelsea & Liverpool.
Only 2 goals difference between all 3.
Liverpool have a game in hand still.
Chelsea play Leicester next week, after their FA Cup final.
Could get interesting.
