Re: ALK Capital or Farnell/Elkashashy takeover

The guy who comments a lot on the Everton finances, the Esk, seems to think he's decent and he has been scathing about a lot of the other executive staff involved at Everton. Been awhile since I was on this forum, my apologies. Hope all is good. Sasha was frequently the only adult in the room at Ev...

I noted some of the earlier references to Socios, Chiliz etc. I put together a piece for Everton supporters to demonstrate why this is such a bad idea all round (unless you hold a few million $CHZ)

Good luck for the season ahead!

Paul, I had noted that in your response to Kieran. Are you able to identify where the funds raised for the ALK loan (issued in late December came from - I am assuming monies raised in October were for an alternative purpose - I could be wrong in that of course. FWIW this is my take on "Big Picture" "There are intelligent people on the Liverpool and Manchester United boards. The lunacy that is rule E55 (Premier League Handbook) effectively suspending profit and sustainability rules for 12 months stands in stark contrast to the loss of the PPTV which immediately reduces yet another income stream for Premier League clubs.

Everton become the latest club to secure a new secured credit facility - probably an overdraft, given it is from their existing bankers, but cannot say for certain.

Assuming the outstanding 92 Premier League games are completed by July 26th, each Premier League club is expected to forgo £5 million at the end of July of this year and the remaining £11.5 million collected in season 2021/22.

If the season is not completed the whole £760 million becomes payable.
