Re: Mental health
I’ve had my ups and downs, and as someone said further up, keeping yourself mentally well is something you need to do every day, in exactly the same way as your physical health. Someone else said further up about never being truly ‘happy.’ I’ve been listening to a lot of podcasts recently and one sa...

I have an 11 month old at home, can’t wait until he’s old enough to come on the turf with me. But right now, I think it would be bonkers for me, him and everyone else.

Spot on. These threads wallowing in self pity always appear during relegation seasons. So boring. No self pity at all. I can’t self-pity the oerformances because I’m not a member of the squad. I’ve seen us in relegation battles/bad spells before. The 19 game run under Cotterill, I was angry. When C...

Don’t get me wrong, I still care massively about this club. Re: Heaton replacing Hart moment again?
Absolute parallels with the Hart/Heaton decision to me. All the same arguments about ‘he’s not been that bad’, ‘he hasn’t been directly to blame for many goals’ were made about Hart, and they were potentially true. But it was blatantly obvious to see that the defence just didn’t trust Hart behind th...

I’ve never understood those on here that claim Obafemi was ever a backup striker for Foster. Foster is a back to goal striker who can hold up the ball and run the channels alone. Obafemi, if he is playing up front, needs to play in a 2 alongside someone else who can do the hold up play whilst he run...

As mentioned above; we just don’t have the players to play the passing game we want to play at this level as our defenders/midfielders aren’t good enough at passing out and beating the press. However, we also don’t have the personnel to play a direct game either, so we are very much left in a quanda...

Don’t care how many ‘good’ saves he makes, he is quite clearly the main issue. The way we played last season meant Muric was one of, if not the most important player in possession. If we want to aim to replicate that this season (we have to try as we don’t have the personnel to do anything else) the...
