If there’s one thing that makes me question VK as a coach it’s picking Vitinho. Yes, plenty of effort and commitment but seriously out of his depth. It’s veryclear the opposition have identified this.

What is the thinking here anyone know? Are we looking to move him on on?
I really hope not.
I guess VK hasn’t been impressed with him this season, but he’s such a good footballer and offers something a bit different…

Interesting stuff. Used to play on the Stoneyholme rec for Junior Clarets ironically. We’d have to move the ‘travellers’ off pretty frequently I remember. Was there an old paper mill down there too?

There's something exceptionally hollow about it all. JJ Watt going on American TV Shows, doing the same patter. Its novelty seeing random actors or American sports stars wearing the Burnley clobber, but we’ll be paying these people to wear them. On the back of it all are we selling more merchandise...

Yup, agreed.
I just think he has so much natural ability. The sky is the limit for him if he/we can harness it.

I thought Amdouni was our standout however … and Zaroury is still a beautiful footballer. We need to get him up to speed as IMO he’s the best we have!

Priorities hopefully…
Left back - Maatsen or Gomez
CM - Lokonga or Hamer
Looks like we want another attacker- Clarke or Tella
I’d say Townsend, if it happens, Koleosho and Larson are squad/long term prospects
That should be it right?
Apologies, felt the need to summarise

Fair play to Ekdal. He looks super lean. Some of the criticism of his pace might have prompted this. Great sign he performed so well last season not at optimal fitness.

Spot on Spice I'm not sure the romance of that Coyle season can ever be compared to this. With the cup runs and the sense of adventure it was an altogether naiver experience. We're harder bitten now, and whilst we probably did ultimately need promotion that year as much as we do now, I think we're m...

I’d say Coyle. Kompanys side is much better but the fact there were some average players, playing above their capabilities gave Coyles team an edge. There were more Peronalities too as these were seasoned pros. Then there was Blake who was special and J Rod who was a real prospect, and the first dec...
