Re: Eye surgery
I had my cataract operation at Westmorland General in Kendal in 2020, but last year it clouded over ( a common thing to happen ), and I had it corrected at Spa Medica in Preston.
Very quick and efficient. I thoroughly recommend them.

Even if Blackburn lose at Leicester, they'll be safe unless:-
Birmingham win at home to Norwich, AND
Plymouth win at home to Hull, AND
Sheffield Wednesday avoid defeat at Sunderland.

Because of the potential rail problems, I've decided not to go to Tottenham. Avanti have refunded my ticket.
I therefore have an over 65 ticket available, and because you were the first to enquire I'm giving you first refusal.
Please respond when you log on.

Train strikes Tuesday, Weds and Thursday (7 to 9th May). You’ll be ok Sorry to put a downer on things, but on the day of the match almost all the train drivers will be on an overtime ban, which will mean loads of last minute cancellations. Weekend rail services rely heavily on drivers working overt...

Potential rail problems for Spurs game
ASLEF are urging overtime bans for Avanti West Coast drivers on Saturday 11 May.
This will means trains being cancelled at very short notice.
I'm not getting stranded in London. If I decide to sell my match ticket I'll post on here nearer the time.

If you are getting to London by train from the North West, the good thing about Seven Sisters is that it is only four stops on the tube to Euston.
I've never known the station to be particularly busy after the match.

Yes, of course.
I go for the day out, and to meet family and friends. If I enjoy the match, that's a bonus.
Who can honestly say they've enjoyed this season more than last?
I'm already looking forward to the kick-off in August.

Muric had a great game v Bournemouth...made some very important saves. Trafford getting his first England senior call up ( albeit no. 3. Keeper) is a nice problem to have. Muric has bided his time and made the most of his first start this season, so yes, for me Muric. I think you mean Brentford, bu...

I've never had a digital ticket before.
Will it be in order to print the e-mail, which presumably will have a QR code on it, and present the printout at the turnstile, or will I have to work out how to download the ticket from my tablet or laptop to my phone?

Absolute no doubt we’ve had far worse teams. I’ve no idea what but I just feel at times as if I could just call it a day. I've not reached that stage yet, but that's maybe because a home match is a good day out for me. I get to see one of my stepchildren or my sister-in-law in Lancaster ( they each...
