Re: Grassroots sport
Was back coaching my Under 9 group last night and will be at our venue every night this week for various groups before the U9s have a game Saturday morning. Absolutely loved being back last night. The kids loved it but I absolutely needed it as well

Re: 2021 Cricket Season
Must admit I'm looking forward to getting back across to the cricket. Great days out seeing friends etc. Only live across the road from Bentgate and when the sun is out there's no where I'd rather be. Loads of space, the kids go and have a kick about round the back, great food etc, what's not to like

Re: Vyds
Thought Vydra was really good today. I think to call it outstanding is pushing it but it’s all about opinions.
Just hope he continues to get a run in the side as having a bit of consistency both in terms of a run of games and with a consistent partner makes a massive difference.

Re: Neil Hart - Burnley FC CEO - Departs
that's OK then, we'll agree to disagree :) Which is fine. I'm not a massive contributor on here but I'm not one of these that will get into an argument with someone for having a different opinion. I felt, given the current climate, given a lot of people have been struggling it was a daft comment to...

I'd take a draw now but that doesn't mean I don't think we can win.
Injuries a plenty for both sides which makes it a tough one to predict

Re: Neil Hart - Burnley FC CEO - Departs
are you referring to the misleading headline or what Dyche actually said? just checking as the headline is not what Dyche actually said, although he does expand upon the concept of the fee in the interview and accepted that its a possibility for which he could (at the time of the interview) see "no...

Didn’t see that at the time but ridiculous comments from a Burnley manager which I’m quite surprised atSwizzlestick wrote: ↑Tue Mar 02, 2021 5:52 pmYes, I remember being irked by SD’s comments at the time - https://www.football365.com/news/dyche- ... y-per-view

We'd be far better off investing the money that will be needed in this into grassroots facilities which are shockingly poor in this country, particularly in Lancashire, considering it's the national game.
As a grassroots coach I am biassed of course

Re: MIGHTY CLARETS versus Fulham
I know subbing a sub isn’t the done thing but Brady has been next to uselesss tonight and every game he is a walking booking. If he doesn’t sort his head out he’ll get sent off. I’d have him off and probably leave him out indefinitely. After an amazing start he’s arguably the most disappointing Dych...

Cheers for the advice guys.
I've already decided that youth is the way forward and will be playing mostly younger players. I jumped in stupidly and bought a player I shouldn't have (I'm very impatient) but I've learnt from that already

Yeah I was well happy with that oneQuickenthetempo wrote: ↑Wed Feb 17, 2021 10:58 amJust seen that two of the new managers have struck gold with youth players.
Edd Rovers with his 17yr old 6 skill and Hapton anarchy with their 18yr old 7 skill.
I'm slowly getting into this and think I'll enjoy it

Where did I say I was the manager. He got it spot on today, he got it horribly wrong in the week. If you disagree that’s fine

Re: Magnificent
But what about all the moaning after the cup match. Dyche proved right again and the doubters eating humble pie. Well done Clarets. Superb professional showing. Totally disagree. We won today and played brilliantly. That doesn’t mean we couldn’t have fielded a stronger team midweek and win both. Th...

Re: Magnificent
Brilliant performance from front to back. We came flying out of the blocks in both halves and got our rewards. Makes you wonder why we aren’t so positive whenever we play the teams outside the top 6/7. I think the second half against Villa was a turning point in Dyche’s mentality. Totally agree wit...

Re: Have we (the fans) reached a tipping point?
I believe we have a lot of talented players and some games we can 100% release the shackles a little bit as seen in the Brighton game. What frustrates me most is our attitude to the cups. Yes I know we don’t want injuries but injuries can happen in training does that mean we shouldn’t train? Other p...

Re: Xpert11 Online Football Manager- Clarets Championship Recruiting for Season 57
Judging by the teams available in the job centre I would create your own. Start from scratch. Make sure you get your 1m econ every week and do a press bonus if you can for 200k a week. Get rid of all your bad players and replace with 17yr old 4 skills. Get better as you go. Cheers mate, I’ll sort i...
