The players are content with losing and relegation. At the end of the day they won’t be dropped and they still get paid thousands at the end of the week. No repercussions. Then you have players like Tarks who think they are the nest players on earth and who don’t care as if we go down a bigger club...

Well if we were going to go down I’d rather of done it under the old ownership, shed some wages and clear the decks for a rebuild.
We constantly design our squad to win the championship and with the emergence of some of the younger players I’d feel we are better placed than ever to bounce back.

Interesting to see Lowton come on and play right midfield (and he scored a cracking pen). It gives SD a new option of Bards at RB and Lowton wide right, if we are down to a depleted squad v Man Utd. Lets face it we will be largely defending. At least Lowton is naturally right footed and can whip in...

I’m not turning this into a direct Covid thread, but SD mentions we have a few players out. Assume it could be any of the following Jay, Brownhill, Taylor, Westwood and perhaps McNeil. Got a 6 pack of the bitter. Gave my dad 5 for NYE and kept 1 for myself so we could both have a beer together at midnight (5 miles apart)
In the end I couldn’t bring myself to open it, so it’s sat in my office next to my Bottle of Batch European cup gin.
Wasn’t cheap, think it was £3 a can for 330ml?

I think we were on a bad run toward the end of 2018 and okayed liverpool at home midweek. Bardsley put a tackle in that changed the whole mood and game.
We lost 1-3 but I really felt that was the beginning of the end of the bad run (then the Everton pasting came)
