Assignon
Just watching the game back from Saturday. There are parts to Assignon's game that are excellent, good going forward, brave and tough in the tackle. The areas he struggles with are areas that can be coached in my opinion, diving in, positioning, marking etc I would love to see him stay, I just think...

solid, hard working, technical, eye for goal...injury prone!
Really like him, great player to have in the squad.

Hearing stories that ten Hag has agreed to become Bayern boss in the summer, (apparently Utd will let him go with no compensation to pay).
Hopefully this story will come out this week, should upset the apple cart for our game.

Assignon seems to be enjoying playing for us.
Even if we go down, we'll still be attractive to a lot of players.
Most will expect us to come straight back up playing good football.

The most frustrating part for me is that if we stayed up, I could really see us pushing on next season.
Relegation is a big step backwards, but the team can still evolve.
Most players are still learning the VK style, hopefully a bit of consistency over the next 18 months will help.

I thought Man Utd’s was a penalty though? Even Adam Smith knew he messed up raising his arm. Just been reading in the Brighton Gazette that they have a fair few injuries for Saturday, so that's positive. We have a fair few missing though too. Beyer, Dakil, O'Shea, Koleosho, Ramsey, Redmond. Amazed that you were critical of folk for giving Muric a high rating and then you've given Vitinho a 6.
