Re: Hard to believe stats.

Great analysis Spiral. I’m obviously a football fan but to be explain that in words is impressive. My brother wasn’t with me tonight and I was wanting to explain how we played and you’ve done that perfectly! Interested to know if you’re educated football coaching? Or is this something you’ve self le...

Re: Margaret, Reading based Clarets supporter

Hi Woodley,

I have her mobile number. I’m not sure there is a way to send this directly?

Re: Margaret, Reading based Clarets supporter

I’ve sent a screen shot of this to her son. I am presuming there aren’t many Margaret’s from Reading who are Clarets fans, so we’re talking about the same one.

He will try and get in touch as he thinks he may know who you are!

The conclusion I have come to is that the ‘two names’ will be one name.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

I may well be wrong.

Re: Road Markings

Can be done, for good reason. Usually, it is as a result of local input, sometimes, to improve safety, somewhere there is a concern. If that was the case then I would fully support a change. However, this is a result of road resurfacing and then the markings being put in a different place to what t...

Road Markings

Random question - can road markings just be changed?

The road outside my house has been resurfaced in the last week, the road markings have been repainted today, but the junction has been switched.

Is this a cock up or can the markings be changed without planning or consultation?

Re: ALK Capital or Farnell/Elkashashy takeover

I don't like the "mortgage" analogy, if I have a house which is mortgage free, I most definitely wouldn't raise another mortgage on the property if I'm going to stay living in it 🤷‍♂️ It appears to me that MG found a way to scoot off with the club's cash by selling his shares (which he has a right ...

I had to log in and post this memory of Chris McCann - this is my lad as mascot on the fateful day of when he was injured against Sunderland... Chris McCann.jpg Those socks were brilliant. Bought a pair but unfortunately they went in a wash which turned the blue to purple. Was fair to say I was gut...

Re: ALK Capital or Farnell/Elkashashy takeover

Friday wasn't it according to our friend "in the know"? You know who I mean? The person who keeps saying that he won't post on the takeover any more yet can't resist and comes back time after time with supposed inside info that doesn't materialise. Laws of averages says that he is bound to get some...

We sometimes call in before games and we heard that it had gone so just thought I’d ask. Always been happy with the breakfast and never found it too expensive for what you get. Be a shame if it does go/has gone! Still not sure from the replies. Always been handy for us location wise so not to sure w...

Re: Anyone Got a Woodburner?

Quick query for anyone with a multi fuel. I’ve decided to try smokeless coal as I want to burn longer and keep s constant heat. Wood is great and looks good, but I go through loads and it’s a fast burn. I rely on a thermometer on my flu which tells me that I’m burning a a good heat which avoids crea...

Re: Koeman sacked

Everton and dyche seem to fit???? Yes in my opinion they do. I believe they’ll be looking for. Moyes type character. Someone who can deal with the club top to bottom, in exactly the way Dyche has done here. You may now point out that they could just appoint Moyes, but I believe his time has gone an...

Everton and Dyche seem to fit. I think if Kenwright makes the decision then we will be looking for a new manager.

Am I right in thinking that season ticket holders can get a discount when purchasing from Oak Furniture Land?

If so, any idea how to apply the discounts online?
