Re: Referee confirmed for Manchester United game

Well he was having a good giggle with Pochettino (sp), yesterday.

Moss is not a referee I like - still can't forgive him for sending of Michael Duff at West ham a few seasons back. Hope he's giggling with SD, though, after the game on Sunday, whilst Mr Mourinho is still asking for everyone's respect

Re: Tickets for Spanish Games (specifically Valencia)

We went to Bilbao vs Barca last year. A slight guess on my part as to how it works... I think Members get tickets in advance and any not taken up are put up for sale. At Bilbao this was in the week before the game, think it was Tues 10am they put them on sale for the Sun game. I managed to get a co...

Re: Tickets for Spanish Games (specifically Valencia)

Never been to Valencia's stadium, but if it's similar to Malaga, you should be able to get tickets from the ground in advance (you may need identification). Because it's Barcelona, expect to pay more than the other league games. Nice one - thanks vino. We'll have a wander past the ground and see if...

Not help regarding tickets but certainly 'advice'. Me and some mates went to Valencia some good few years back, and whilst there visited the ground. Unfortunately it was shut and we couldn't even see in (it's so colossal). So we circumnavigated it and then consoled ourselves with a beer in a nearby...

Re: Dates for Europa League draws?

I would have thought that since the group draw is after the last qualifying round, those pots would be rearranged under the actual coefficients and we wouldn't be in pot 1 because our coefficient is only 15,921 - that would put us into pot 3, or pot 2 if enough teams ahead of us get knocked out.. So, in the Championship we played 46 games a season (plus the (short-lived, normally) foray into the FA Cup and League Cups). In the Europa League we'd play 4 qualifying games (equivalent of pre-season friendlies but with something on them so might even get us match sharper more quickly) plus 6 game...
