Re: This crazy league
I was just thinking that usually the teams at the top of the table are easily going at 2 ponts per game.....not this season, though in the Championship.
Maybe a record low number of points for promotion (in the top 2) this season? 82-84 points enough?
Interesting season ahead, though......

Well, that's annoying.
I'd just booked to go to London for Thursday through to Saturday evening (seeing my kids/grandkids and taking in the game), now I'll be forced to spend more time with my kids/grandkids and miss the game

Tony - well done to everyone involved.
As someone who only manages to get to Turf Moor a couple of times a season (and then I normally forget to bring some tins along with me - sorry), is there any way I can make a cash donation to the fund you've just made that donation from?

I don't think our accounts (NewClaret) of the last days of Dyche are that far apart and I accept my account may well not be accurate albeit came from someone I know and would believe. I do agree that the lack of public thanks to SD from both AP and the players is, at best, disappointing. SD absolute...

Interesting debate here about a number of issues which go beyond the Pace interview e.g. Garlick, financial situation, player investment etc etc. One of the issues has been about Dyche's departure and, in effect, questioning Pace about that. I believe that discussions between AP and SD had been taki...

This thread has become a bit more of a review of the season (claret59 most recently excepted) My point, at the start, was that despite everything, we still had the outcome in our own hands with one game to go. I'm wondering what the mentality might have been that thought doing anything else other th...

It was in our own hands...or was it....
I've been thinking about all the psychology of the final few days of last season and how everyone at Burnley (after the Villa game) were banging on about the outcome 'being in our own hands'. Then the last game happened and we set up defensively and with players playing out of position to accommodat...

Would be interesting to see how much was paid to Dyche or will be. I imagine it’s around the 20m mark? Your Son is spot on Goddy Approx 3O% of penalties go to the right 30% to the left 40% centrally So a keeper has the best chance if he stays in the middle and relies on his reflexes for anything saveable that isn’t going into the extreme corners. Surely a no brainer. We'd want Arsenal to win all day (much as it pains me to say so).
