Technically / legally, they don’t have to pay out at all. They wouldn’t last long in the bookie business if they were seen not to pay out on winning bets, though. Gambling debts with licenced bookies have been legally enforceable for nearly 20 years now. It's a shame bets made with gobshites on the...

Yes good on Tella staying on his feet and the referee playing the advantage. However Lenihan did put Nathan off and foul him and yet no action taken against him. A fairer outcome maybe should have been Nathan scores and no action taken against Lenihan. No goal scored and Lenihan is shown the red ca...

Their fixtures have been horible during the bad run, almost all against teams in the top half of the table.
I expect everyone will be talking about a new manager bounce in their upcoming games against teams in the bottom half.

Question is, why aren't we at that level? It's not as though we are a smaller nation than the major teams in Europe, nor access to a lack of funds to match any other European country. So why haven't we been able to match the likes of Spain, France Germany and Italy over the last few decades? Probab...

As for England and Southgate, winning the games they're "supposed to" is an achievement in itself compared to the previous incumbents.
