Re: Women’s Euros 2022
Women's football surely will not achieve its' potential until it is hyped up and the rewards are such that it becomes a realistic career option for a large number of athletes. I hope this happens sooner rather than later. You say that, but I’m not so sure. I really dislike what Elite mens football ...

Re: The James Webb space telescope.
Thanks Spiral. I suppose that is where I struggle though. We know that water boils at 99.97 degrees because we can see that and measure it. But we can’t possibly know whether any planet, our planet, or the sun could or could not explode. We can give a balance of probabilities I guess based on our ma...

Re: The James Webb space telescope.
And this is why in my humble opinion, it’s a complete waste of time and billions of pounds taking, what is in essence, photos of things that don’t exist. Let’s help this planet, even for the short term. I suppose it depends whether we learn anything useful to help this planet? That being said, how ...

As Beddie says, you do need to do some more digging. Whilst they have reduced your monthly payments, will that actually cover your energy costs each month or would you be building up debt with them?
For them to change by such a large amount, something isn’t right.

Re: The James Webb space telescope.
The life cycle of all types of star can be reduced to and described mathematically. Our Sun doesn't carry enough mass to supernovae (go kablam!!!). It's physically impossible. We're safe from that! You say that but we can’t be 100% certain can we. As humans, we have created lots of mathematical for...

Re: Women’s Euros 2022
I get no satisfaction however watching mis matched contests as in the women’s Euros where England and others are sticking a hatful of goals past weak teams. This rarely happens in men’s tournaments and indicates that women’s football hasn’t reached a consistent level globally. Have you watched any ...

Re: The James Webb space telescope.
It is quite mind bending when you think about it. Those stars and galaxies probably no longer exist but the images are still travelling to us. It also makes you think, when they showed the aftermath of the star exploding. What’s to say that the star we are on could just do the same? Without the huma...

Don’t really care what level it is, don’t even see why we should compare it to any other levels either. The question is whether it is good entertainment to watch. And to be fair, I have quite enjoyed it. There is some good technical skill on show and the games on the whole have been entertaining. It...

The Orphan X series by Gregg Hurwitz are excellent. He has also done a number of standalone books that are very good. It is hard to tell whether that is too much without knowing more of the detail. Is the amount you quote, your monthly direct debit figure or your actual usage. Do you know what your actual tarriff is per kWh? It will be on your bill. The numbers Lowbank quotes above are reasonable? Are yours similar...

Thanks for the heads up on Expedia Clarets4me.

Managed to find one on Expedia £220 for economy. So much better than anywhere else. Cheers
