The people I know who actually know him do seem to like him and say he is a great bloke.

I wish him well. Commanding central defenders are so hard to find and definitely worth the effort if they show the potential. I would suggest that this is more likely to be a signing for the development squad from what I know. Then again, what do I know! He is highly unlikely to have gone completely...
