He's been taped up and looking like he was carrying an injury for a few games now IMO, surprised he was starting every game given how many wingers we have. Glad he's getting something of a breather.

The quote from VK isn’t saying he’s only a number 9 ‘He is a player who can do both, he can be in the pockets and the half spaces but he can also play centrally and drop in," "He's got good feeling for timing of runs in behind so I think naturally his instinct is to be a number nine, but I think be...

A striker is our main requirement for Jan window Whilst they have scored goals, Jay and Ash just don't seem to have the speed and quickness of thought to make the absolute best of the rest of current squad Ideal time to bring a new guy in (someone capable of starting) so that they can get used to t...

I think they'd be better putting the standing in the North Stand Lower. with a cost involved in it surely they're better spending money on the stand that will be around longer. Probably could charge more for it there too.

Maatsen and THB for me for same reasons as KRBFC. Their skillsets are much rarer/harder to replace than Tella's IMO. I think they're both realistic permanent signings too as neither Chelsea nor City will have serious game time to offer them so they're likely to sell with buyback options. We'd also b...

Completely agree. We were also missing two key set piece defenders at Sheffield. I saw it before it exploded. From where I was in the JHL it looked to come from somewhere in the corner between the Bob Lord and Cricket Field Stands, couldn't tell whether that was from the concourse outside either stand or from further afield though.

I know we had a torrid time last weekend but I'm not overly concerned. We've so few things we're not the best at in the league that things we aren't the best at really stand out but are exaggerated. We are going to have to disagree on this. Even on the video above Roberts kicks him on the right knee whilst his right foot is grounded. Nothing raised at all. Not sure from a still. That could just be his running action. To me he didn’t put the brake on and just carried on forward. I’m not complaining we might not have won without it. It's not his running action, his prior few steps his knees don't even nearly reach that height just raises it to catch Ro...

Well, we did win. Going to a back five with no obvious out ball was not necessarily what I would've done either but given the problems we've had seeing games out this season it seems extremely churlish to complain about us beating one of the league's better sides 1-0. Exactly the kind of forward who would suit us should we go up and Norwich don't I don't think he's the right fit personally, he's a striker that pretty much exclusively operates in the final 3rd which isn't what Kompany wants. For those who criticise his reluctance to deal with crosses, I think they've probably just been spoiled by Pope who was one of (if not) the best at that in the Premier League. Muric is above average at stopping crosses by Championship GK standards.
