Absolutely........and in all my years following Burnley I really believe that, if we survive the dreaded drop this season, we can lose the tag of 'selling club' even if it might only be temporary.

Even that will be a massive achievement.

No worries random........I might be erring slightly on the high side but the £38million will certainly be no more than £1million overestimated. As I said a key figure is the 190 employees currently on the payroll.

The implications of this are almost unthinkable, it will blow the PL deal out of the water.

Costa will be the first of many if the reputed £600k per week is true.

Certain to be disruption at the Bridge and daft as it sounds Tottenham might be favourites for the title in a couple of weeks.

Just to bring everyone back down to earth, these figures are 18 months out of date, so a bit of a pointless exercise really.

When we eventually release our accounts to Jun'16 a break-even situation or even a small loss is likely.

That's the problem, the fact that the Board have a 94% shareholding plus the fact that they discontinued the AGM some four years ago, it's not possible now for the remainder to have a voice. Even the informal shareholder's meeting in 2013 only lasted for one year.

AshvilleNC........The answer to that lies basically within the thread title. In just the last four seasons their Wage bill has totalled £120million plus a further £80million in other operating costs. Any incoming fees therefore, plus further Venky's cash injection, has gone to covering those costs. ...
