Re: Current Season Void Or Continue

I can't see how football is gonna be played before June. The lockdown measures we are living in will be in place at least until May bank holiday so another 2 and a half weeks. Players are gonna need at least 3 weeks minimum for a mini pre-season as they'll have to get a couple of games in as friendl...

Went to the Tuesday night 1-0 win with my Mum on the Burnley Supporters Coach. Think it was the only time I went to an away game with just me mam hence I remember the day well. Dad was working so couldn't come. It was my one & only visit to the ground on the very small terracing behind the goal befo...

Re: Players Together

I may be wrong ( I'm not an accountant ) but as I understand it, if the players donate money, which will presumably be gift aided, that will be much better for the NHS than a pay cut. I read somewhere that a pay cut could cost the treasury up to£200 million in lost tax. What the players have agreed...

It doesn't sound too unreasonable. The dates given are the end of May so if the current trend of new infections continue to decrease then in another 3/4 weeks some restrictions could start to be lifted. Games will probably be played behind closed doors but at least then can be played and not affect ...

Thing of beauty as you say, just watching it sweetly fly in. The 2nd was a bit of blur and all out of the blue, ...
