Their academies are mainly for selling the players they produce to create revenue and enable them to meet FFP rules if possible, unless you're City and then you just go to court over it.

Any player could fall out with a club, that's how it is but you could flip that and show how the club handled it well, he was never slagged off in the press, he was moved out with minimum fuss and forgotten about.

I don't mind him and would agree - but again, he wasn't at the table so I'm not arsed either way. I've not personally seen anything yet that would make me judge Pace negatively - if that changes then so be it, lets hope for all of us that that isn't the case. Not all of them.
Selling clubs have been known to demand full fee at time of sale, or a very large chunk of it.
In the case of Newcastle, I'd like to think we've asked for the lot in one go.

Ten minutes ago it was fact that he is going cause his release clause was met, also that the figure is £20 million. Now it's a straight sale sanctioned by the club.
