Their academies are mainly for selling the players they produce to create revenue and enable them to meet FFP rules if possible, unless you're City and then you just go to court over it.

Bit silly to expect them to use said players for the first team when they're short of players.

Any player could fall out with a club, that's how it is but you could flip that and show how the club handled it well, he was never slagged off in the press, he was moved out with minimum fuss and forgotten about.

I don't mind him and would agree - but again, he wasn't at the table so I'm not arsed either way. I've not personally seen anything yet that would make me judge Pace negatively - if that changes then so be it, lets hope for all of us that that isn't the case. Ten minutes ago it was fact that he is going cause his release clause was met, also that the figure is £20 million. Now it's a straight sale sanctioned by the club. I think we need to wait to find out the true story. Come on, you know we don't like facts getting the way of a good story on here :lol:

I hope his leaving has the same effect that Austin leaving did.

We were overly reliant on Austin for goals and were actually better without him.
