Scrawled on a school desk in Lancaster. Our grandson got detention for venting his ire. We could only laugh. I’m sure I wrote worse about Jack Taylor and Maurice Fussey!

What were the players doing dribbling the ball round the opposition. It’s much more exciting these days passing to a colleague, receiving back from the colleague, passing back to him again…………Zzzzzzzzzzzz

Trippier had his arm round Barnes’ shoulder and was in conversation with him for quite a long time. He didn’t deserve any boos and I didn’t hear any aimed at him.

Re: Villa a must win?

Still one from three in my opinion. Everton, though favourites to stay up, could go down if there is a twist on the final day. A lot rides on Thursday night’s games, where Everton need something against Palace, and we need something against Villa.

Rovers play-off fight……..

…….all but over after Sheffield United won last night. For those who feared that our Premier League place would be taken by that lot down the road, well, you can rest a bit easier now, due to our resurgence and their mediocrity. They have fluffed their lines once again and we live to fight on. UTC

We are on a roller coaster, that’s for sure. The euphoria after the Everton game, the despair after the Norwich game, then a glimmer of hope at West Ham. But hey, Everton are on that same roller coaster and we need to ensure they are on the seat behind us, come May. Let’s make Turf Moor a cauldron t...
