Its a fair point, but we have still cocked up with trying to play 4411 without a recognised nr 10. Still dont understand the type of stikers we signed although wood is a good player. This is ALWAYS going to be the problem with VAR in football.

There are no clear lines to cross and it will ALWAYS be down to the opinion of the guy watching the TV.

No different to a ref having an opinion. So what's the point having it?

It's not mathematically impossible, but highly unlikely.

I don't think Long has been too bad but Bardsley was dreadful, he cost us 3 game winning goals in 3 consecutive games. in 18 years of watching Burnley I can't recall a worse right back. But if we end up finishing the season in a pretty much similar spot to last season, surely the "well we have more points than last so far" argument is gone. I'm not saying this as anti Dyche/Burnley etc but the way we won the Championship was spectacular as we were turning over teams in great form ...
