No room for sentiment ...the players who must go

When we can:

Barnes
Rodriguez
Westwood
Cork
Bardsley
Long
Lowton
Lennon
Stephens

Doesn’t matter if Prem or Championsip.

When they signed Vardy for a million from non-league Fleetwood, we signed Sam Vokes from Wolves. That was Howe's last summer with us. As for Wood, Leicester signed him in the January window after they'd signed Vardy. Not sure we had any money at the time to sign either of them to be honest. it look...

Been doing it for ages though haven't they? Where were we for the likes of Vardy and Wood originally? Well the answer is for the former we passed (presumably too quick) and for the latter we waited until he cost £15m.

Re: What's the reason Brownhill is playing instead of Jack Cork?

Yes. I can't see PL clubs being interested in players such as Cork and Westwood because they are too old. For my money the three CMs are much of a muchness, but Brownhill is the only one now at all likely to improve. Other Premier League teams covet good players. It’s as simple as that really. It’s...

We fit the full profile of a side on the way down. Don't score many, don't keep clean sheets, don't win when playing well, don't win at home. There is of course time to reverse all this, but I rather worry the rot from last season has now well and truly set in and will be affecting the players. All ...

Brownhill will divide opinion but the simple fact is without his energy in there (or unless you play all three) Westwood plus Cork just don’t have legs and won’t work. Westwood doesn’t get much flak but he’s been one of our poorest performers so far and if anything, is the one who needs dropping. As...

It’s got to be a change in shape going forward. Two forwards isn’t affecting the game - particularly when one of them is Barnes - and we are constantly overrun in midfield.
