Re: Stupid question time!

Came home last night just in time to watch our game on Motd and the thoughts of an ex pro footballer on the penalty decision, now I was a bit tipsy but he explained why it was not a penalty. My question is do any ex professional footballers sit on var because a common criticism thrown at refs is th...

I don’t think Dyche would allow anyone, including himself to sit back.
We did it every season we were safe early, bar Europe. A couple of times we could have finished top half but just stopped when we were safe.

They have a very easy run in, and if they don't take advantage of it, then everyone around us will. It just makes our job harder. I think they'll be fine. The worry is they make safety and sit on the beach for the last 3 games, which could really hurt us.

Just checked out The Shed End. Vast majority agree it was never a penalty, and never a booking. Muric said to look Bonnettiesque for his long throws. I thought this story came out a week ago.
it was just a playful cuff that the recipient didn't appreciate. Tarks and another of the players went and told SD that the lad didn't like it, so SD went and apologised as he hadn't realised the kid had misunderstood.
At least that was the story I read.

I was sat next to a young couple with a baby in a papoose a couple of games ago. The baby only looked about 3 weeks old, I asked if it was their first game, and they said it was their second.
I don't know any official policy, but if this baby was allowed in then any baby will.
Good luck to them.
