Re: West Ham United V The Clarets 2pm KO

Good performance yet again let down by the ineptitude of the defence. We have no hope when you’re defending like O’Shea and Esteve do. One ball dinked over their head or round the side and they’re ball watching every time.

Cullen, Berge and Fofana all very good today.

McNeil was electric when he broke into our team and offered far, far more in general play than Odobert. He was a real team player who swung in a ludicrous amount of excellent crosses in his first 18 months or so in the side. Odobert has potential but he has an awful lot to work on to make it at this...

We have nothing else to amuse ourselves with this season now, so this may well be the silver lining for us in a terrible year of football. That is a rancid set of fixtures and the really important thing was Eustace not giving them a bounce - if anything they’ve seemingly got worse.

For those who want VK to remain... The Majority of the logic for him remaining has been because he has proven he can do it in the Championship. Don’t think we’ll win again and can see a few batterings incoming as so many of the team have given up and we will now start to see that some begin protecting themselves from injury to get moves.

Maybe 3 draws - 16 points.

I haven’t checked this to see if it’s already been proven to be baseless conscpiracy - but you start to wonder if that contract has a ‘must start every league game when available’ clause inserted in it.
