Re: 19 games in, 19 games to go...

So we have officialy reached the half way point through the Premier League season, where we find ourselves to have: Played 19 Won 3 Drawn 2 Lost 14 Resulting in a halfway total of 11 points and a win rate of 15.79% I said after 10 games or so that the next time we can really judge where we're at is...

Re: Keep the faith

If we get the chance to play top half teams when they are out of form like Luton and Forest did with Newcastle then my faith will be stronger.
As it is now I still believe all is not lost even though it’s been an incredibly difficult first half of the season to experience

My belief this season is that we would improve over the season and that is happening. It’s an awful long way away from survival but I still believe we will continue to improve.
I don’t know if it will be enough but I don’t think we will be that far away come the end of the season

I never thought it would go so quickly . We have nothing to get excited and optimistic about in such a short space of time.

Thank you. I get what you mean. You may well be right but I think there is a lot of potential there. I don't think it will need a full reconstruction at all. I don't for one second think he had finished with his building in summer. I think he always knew we needed a more combative midfielder. He wa...

Weak as anything today. The softest Burnley team I can remember. So easy to play against and so predictable. I doubt Everton broke sweat first half. Last season was one of my favourites ever watching the Clarets: we had a team which played fabulous, attacking football, running off the ball into space, team mates passing into that space eveyone knowing what they were doing. When I look at today's starting eleven I see only two players, Brownhill...

Why is it silly?
It’s silly because it only works if you can build with the first building blocks.
The whole lot of them are so lacking in PL potential it’s going to be a case of a full re construction.
Kompany will have to go for this

Are they the same people telling us how fantastic last season was and how amazing this season would be? It is how growth and improvement occurs. This is like a "puppy-fat" stage. We need to encourage young potential and not destroy it with the desire for immediate gains. No, they are just down to e...

Not since 1997 have I felt this deflated at our performances. Not for 25+ years has high expectation been deflated at such Hindenberg levels. Just as back then, we are a disorganised mess at the back. We seemingly lack each and every character trait required to defend stoutly. We got a Payton / Lit...

Primarily OShea's error for me. Berge has 3 closing his and is trapped. So the ball is a bad idea in the first place and it's also underhit.
